Change Management: Turning Transformation into Adoption
A practical one-day (8-hour) live session on the fundamentals of Change Management: how people experience change, stakeholder, impact and readiness analysis, addressing resistance, and structuring change activities that help people move from awareness to successful adoption.
Delivering a new process, system or organisational model does not automatically mean that people will adopt it. Successful transformation requires organisations to understand how people experience change, anticipate resistance, engage stakeholders and actively support adoption.
In this practical one-day (8-hour) session, participants explore the fundamentals of Change Management and learn how to structure change activities that help people move from awareness to successful adoption. The session combines key concepts, practical examples and a realistic transformation scenario.
Agenda (8 hours) 80 min — Understanding Change: Change vs. transition, organisational vs. individual change, typical reactions and leadership role 100 min — Understanding People & Resistance: Fear, uncertainty, loss of control, early warning signs and stakeholder concerns 100 min — Stakeholder, Impact & Readiness Analysis: Stakeholder identification, power/interest, impact assessment, readiness and support needs 80 min — Building the Change Approach: ADKAR, Kotter, sponsorship, communication, training, coaching and reinforcement 80 min — Live Change Management Challenge: Identify stakeholders, impacts and resistance; define communication, training and adoption actions 40 min — Measuring Adoption & Q&A: Adoption indicators, behaviour change, feedback, reinforcement and continuous improvement
Session format: Concepts → Practical Examples → Change Frameworks → Business Scenario → Q&A
Key message: A transformation is not successful simply because a new solution has been delivered. Success happens when people understand the change, accept it, develop the necessary capabilities and adopt the new way of working.
