MCEXPERT SRL, Rue Saint-Joseph 51/1, 1140 Evere, Belgium is the data controller for personal data processed on SKWLD. Reach us at contact@skwld.com.

Our database and file storage are hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). Some processors we rely on are established outside the EU; those transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

2. Who processes it for us

  • Clerk — accounts and authentication
  • Supabase (EU) — database and file storage
  • Stripe — payments. Stripe is a controller in its own right for fraud prevention; we never receive your full card number
  • Resend — transactional email
  • Microsoft Teams — online sessions, calendar invites, attendance and recordings

3. How long we keep it

  • Invoices and accounting records — 10 years, because tax law requires it. These cannot be deleted on request.
  • Account, enrolments, certificates — while your account is open, then 3 years so we can re-issue a certificate you ask for.
  • Recordings — 12 months after the final session.
  • Information requests — 24 months.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email contact@skwld.com and we will respond within one month.

Deletion has one limit worth stating plainly: we must retain invoices and the underlying transaction data for the statutory retention period, so a deletion request removes your profile and contact details but not your accounting record.

You can also complain to your national supervisory authority (in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit)).

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and Stripe’s cookies during checkout for fraud prevention. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers, which is why you are not being asked to accept a consent banner.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us. Access to production data is limited to people who need it. If a breach affects your data and is likely to be a risk to you, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required.

7. Children

SKWLD is for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly process their data.

8. Changes

We will post any update here and change the date above. Material changes will be emailed to account holders.
