Last updated 11 August 2026
Seats are capped, so a cancellation usually means an empty chair we cannot refill at short notice. This policy tries to be fair about that while respecting your statutory rights.
1. Cancelling a module you bought
| When you tell us | You get back |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before the first session | 100% |
| 7 to 14 days before | 50%, or 100% as credit toward another module |
| Less than 7 days before | No refund — but see transfers below |
| After the first session has started | No refund |
2. Transfers instead of refunds
Up to 48 hours before the first session you can move your seat to the next cohort of the same module, once, at no cost. If plans change late, this is almost always the better option.
You may also transfer your seat to a colleague before the first session — tell us their name and email and we will move it.
3. When we cancel or change things
If we cancel a module, or change it in a way that materially reduces what you bought — a different speaker of lesser standing, a substantially different syllabus, or moving an in-person session online — you get a full refund, no questions and no deadline. You can take credit instead if you prefer.
Rescheduling a single session to a nearby date is not, by itself, a material change. If the new date genuinely does not work for you, contact us and we will sort something out.
4. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Two things worth knowing:
- If the module starts within those 14 days and you ask us to begin delivering it in that window, you expressly consent to performance starting early and acknowledge you lose the right of withdrawal once the module has been fully delivered.
- If you withdraw after delivery has begun but before it is complete, you owe a proportionate amount for what was already delivered, and we refund the rest.
Nothing in this policy removes your statutory rights. Where this policy is less generous than the law that applies to you, the law wins.
5. Missed sessions
Missing a session does not create a refund entitlement. Recordings are made available to enrolled attendees for online sessions, and you can ask the speaker questions afterwards.
If you miss enough sessions to fall below the attendance threshold, you will not receive a certificate — this does not affect payment.
6. How to request a refund
Email contact@skwld.com from the address on your account, with your invoice number (find it under Invoices). We aim to reply within two business days.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, typically landing within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We issue a credit note against the original invoice for your records.
7. Business customers
Where you bought as a business rather than a consumer, the statutory withdrawal right in section 4 does not apply. The schedule in section 1 does.
